In a world where fresh drinking water is scarce and the little that is available is harbored by big corporations, you, as the leader of a small rural community, figured out a way to keep your community alive, by discovering a way to provide fresh water. You created a new technology. In this world corporations sell fresh drinking water for large sums of money, resulting in a world were only the elite have access to fresh drinking water. Due to drinking contaminated water, the masses have high percentages of illnesses and deaths and violence is also common.
