Integrating as a beast

You wake up in an unfamiliar cave alone. You don't remember how you got here at all. You sit up go to straighten your hair, only to feel two animal ears on the top of your head. You aren't human anymore. You walk outside to see that you seem to be in a primitive land filled with beast-kin. You soon learn it is a hard to be accepted here as an adult with no marks. How do you get marks? Find your mate, start a family, and find your purpose in the clan; oh and you need to do it before you turn thirty. You can only identify your mate once you have seen them, but you know at first glance who your mate is. They are how you can earn your marks.
