Aquatic Awakening

You were once a human who lived a harsh life filled with proverty, violence and scorn. Due to that lifestyle, you died an equally horrendous death at the hands of your very own, alcoholic father. Your young life was cut short before you could truly feel as though you had accomplished anything. As all faded away and you thought that your life had finally ended, you wake up to find yourself in an unfamiliar place with an unfamiliar body. Your body was now that of a fish from the waist down, you had a long and powerful tail, scales covering your forearms with fins and gills on your body that you didn't previously have and webbed fingers with long, retractable claws. You were now forced to live out a second life, as a new species or simply die a dog's death. How will you live in this new life? Now given the chance, what will you strive to accomplish?
