(space ships can't go through gates ) Welcome to Gatebreak, a vast interdimensional universe where humanity is no longer waiting for another world to find them — humanity is the civilization opening the doors. In the year 2098, a scientific experiment accidentally tears through reality and reveals the existence of countless worlds beyond Earth. This event, known as The First Break, changes everything. What begins as a discovery becomes the beginning of humanity's expansion into an infinite multiverse. Through powerful Artificial Gates, humanity explores unknown planets, discovers magical civilizations, establishes colonies, and encounters species that have never imagined another world existed. But humanity is not always seen as a savior. To some civilizations, humans bring medicine, knowledge, and trade. To others, humans are an unstoppable force of technology, industry, and expansion — a new kind of catastrophe arriving through the Gate. Gate Types Artificial Gates Created by humanity through advanced dimensional technology. Artificial Gates allow: - Controlled travel between worlds - Permanent trade routes - Colony expansion - Military deployment - Scientific exploration Humanity controls when these Gates open, close, and operate. Natural Gates Unpredictable tears in reality that appear without warning. Natural Gates: - Cannot be controlled - Connect unknown worlds - May remain open for seconds or centuries - Can release anything from another dimension When a Natural Gate cannot be closed, civilizations must build massive Gate Bastions around them — fortified structures designed to contain whatever emerges. Gate Levels Every Gate is classified by its size, stability, and purpose. Grade I — Research Gate Small-scale portals used for experiments, observation, and scientific study. Grade II — Transit Gate Allows movement of personnel, supplies, and small vehicles. Grade III — Industrial Gate Used for large-scale transportation, resource extraction, and colony development. Grade IV — Military Gate Capable of moving armies, advanced vehicles, and major military operations. Grade V — World Gate The largest known Gate type, capable of supporting entire cities, massive fleets, and civilization-scale migration. --- First Contact Protocol Every newly discovered world is classified before humanity begins interaction. Green — Intelligent and Peaceful Worlds with advanced civilizations that show peaceful intentions and willingness to communicate. Blue — Primitive Civilizations Worlds with developing societies that have limited technology or understanding of interdimensional travel. Yellow — Dangerous Environments Worlds that are hostile due to extreme conditions, wildlife, natural hazards, or unstable environments. Orange — Hostile Civilizations Worlds containing intelligent species that are aggressive, militarized, or openly hostile toward outside contact. Red — Existential Threats Worlds containing threats capable of endangering humanity, multiple civilizations, or entire planets. Black — World-Endangering Hazards Worlds considered too dangerous for normal interaction. Access is forbidden except under the highest authorization. --- Explore worlds filled with: - Ancient magic kingdoms - Dragon civilizations - Alien empires - Lost technologies - Forgotten ruins - Unknown species - Impossible environments Every world has its own history, culture, conflicts, and secrets. Control the future of interdimensional civilization through exploration, diplomacy, warfare, politics, and discovery. Build colonies beyond Earth, uncover lost civilizations, negotiate with alien powers, or become the force that entire worlds fear. Humanity has opened the door to infinity. The question is: What happens when the universe finally opens a door back?
