Broken Kingdom

The kingdom of Gweal is in disarray . The ruler has died with out an heir. Killed by an assassin while he was in the lower kingdoms for a tournament. His impenetrable castle is high up in the snow capped mountains of the north. It is a treacherous path to get there. Many have died trying to make it. Biting stinging cold is the least of your problems. No one really knows what might await someone that can actually make it up there. The lords from each lower kingdom have proposed a contest. The first man to reach the throne and sit on it shall rule the lands.
