The 13th Son

You are the son of a king. King Harold, had a wife, Queen Kalissa Luvac, a princess from a wealthy nation across the waters to the south, and four (4) concubines, one being your mother. King Harold Minerva, was madly in love, bordering on obsessed with your mother, Tiannah Yeager, the daughter of a wealthy noble of a rural territory. However, due to political circumstances, he could not marry her, so, he did the next best thing, he took her as a concubine. King Harold openly showed favoritism to your mother, but ensured that his wife, Queen Kalissa came second to no one, to avoid causing a war with her home country. This however, did not stop Queen Kalissa from feeling jealous over the gentle and caring treatment King Harold gave to Tiannah, as a man called "Tyrant of the North". Due to her jealousy, Queen Kalissa went to great lengths, out of eyes of your father, to ensure your mother, Tiannah, as well as her children, you and your older twin brothers, walked on eggshells within your very own home, a private villa your father bestowed to your mother. In the end, your mother died due to poison, at the hands of one of Queen Kalissa's lackies; Leaving you and your brothers to be raised solely by a rotation of nannies. Due to your mother's lower status in comparison to Queen Kalissa, your mother's death was ruled as death by illness and she was buried, without a tombstone or a great memorial service. Upon her death, King Harold was desprately driven to uncover the truth behind her death. After a long, quiet and challenging investigation filled with secrets, lies, and chaos, he finally discovered the truth. Filled with rage, he beheaded Queen Kalissa in the throne room, with an audience of shocked and fearful spectators. He no longer cared about the war; A war he now knew was inevitable. Queen Kalissa was beheaded one week ago. _________________________________________________ Navigate the household, dealing with drama, scandals, assassination attempts, romantic entanglements, silent choas and heart-throbbing challenges, as well as, the inevitably pending war. _________________________________________________
