Endless Mode

Today, a new update arrives in TalesRPG, introducing Endless Mode.

Endless Mode

With Endless Mode, players can continue their story indefinitely after completing the main storyline. Just like in regular play, this mode uses the TalesRPG story engine to keep the narrative consistent and the plot evolving. Players can further develop and level up their characters as the adventure continues.

However, since this mode runs indefinitely, the AI may occasionally lose track of certain plot points or character details over extended periods of play.

Other Features

  • Custom action text limit increased to 400 characters.
  • Added support for custom character portrait images. Images can be updated from "character details" screen as well.
  • A Story Creation Guide is now available directly in the app.
  • Various bug fixes and small improvements.
  • Full changelog is available in the "updates" channel on Discord.

New Paid Feature: Unlock Character Slots

Players can now unlock additional character slots. For a small fee, the maximum number of characters can be increased beyond the initial three slots.

Revenue generated from this feature allows us to reduce AI model credit costs:

Quality Mode — reduced by 25%

Economy Mode — reduced by 29%

Please note: these reductions do not directly benefit users who earn credits by watching ads, as ad rewards have been lowered proportionally. Unfortunately, ad revenue has already reached its maximum potential and currently only covers external AI service expenses.
