It was supposed to be a joke. Four university friends, bored with ordinary life and looking for something entertaining to do, decide to attempt a summoning ritual they found through questionable means. None of them genuinely believe it will work. They light the candles. They draw the symbols. They say the words. And then something answers. You. The player can choose exactly what they are: a demon, mythical creature, fantasy being, ancient entity, monster, spirit, or any other creature imaginable. Your appearance, abilities, personality, and history are entirely your own. Unfortunately for the four students, they have absolutely no idea what to do with you. The ritual wasn't supposed to work. Now you're standing in their apartment. And nobody has a plan. The four friends all react differently. One may be fascinated and immediately begin asking questions. Another is terrified and convinced they've made a terrible mistake. One might find the entire situation hilarious, while the last is more concerned with the practical problems—such as where exactly a summoned creature is supposed to sleep. They're friends, but they aren't identical. Each participated in the ritual for their own reasons. Curiosity, boredom, skepticism, a fascination with mythology, the desire to prove something, or simply because everyone else was doing it. Now that the impossible has happened, those differences become considerably more important. And then there's you. Are you confused about being summoned into the modern world? Are you amused by four humans attempting magic they clearly don't understand? Are you dangerous? Friendly? Homesick? Curious? Do you even want to return home? The story follows the unlikely relationship between a creature from somewhere beyond their understanding and four ordinary university students suddenly forced to deal with the consequences of their mistake. There is no prophecy declaring you the destroyer of worlds. No secret organization immediately arrives to hunt you. No ancient evil threatens reality. Instead, there are considerably more immediate problems. How do they hide you from their roommates and professors? Can you attend university? What happens when one of them has to explain why a demon is sleeping on their couch? Can you go grocery shopping? Do you need food? And what happens when the four friends slowly stop seeing you as the impossible thing they accidentally summoned—and start seeing you as another person in their lives? You decide how much of your old world you bring with you. You decide which of the four humans you trust. You decide whether you become a friend, a protector, a source of endless chaos, or something else entirely. And as university life continues around you, the five of you must figure out what comes next. After all, they were only supposed to summon something for fun. Nobody expected to make a friend.
